Samuel Morison Ford

ATTORNEY

Samuel Morison Ford brings over a decade of dedicated experience in estate planning, helping individuals and families safeguard their legacies with clarity and confidence. He is certified as a specialist in Trust, Estate and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, a distinction earned by only a select group of attorneys who demonstrate substantial expertise and ongoing commitment to this complex area of law.

A graduate of Cornell University, Samuel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and studied Japanese language and culture, later teaching English in Japan for three years. His time abroad not only deepened his global perspective but also made him fluent in Japanese—a skill that continues to serve his diverse clientele.

Sam earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where he was awarded the prestigious Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in International Taxation.

Sam is an active board member for South Bay Estate Planning Council and the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation.

When he’s not solving the world’s estate planning problems, Sam spends his time with his wife, Joy Ford (the current City Attorney for Redondo Beach) and their two children. If he’s not with his family, then he’s probably attending or hosting a poker game. So, after your estate plan is complete, if you want a shot at getting your money back, Sam will happily invite you to one of his games.
